We devote a great deal of attention to the children’s diets: their food, which is balanced, diverse, individualised, and safe, is strictly monitored by our Chef, who chooses to work with suppliers with a good reputation in terms of providing good-quality, fresh products.
Eating well is a key factor for harmonious growth. In this respect, we have a key role to play with families. Consequently, we attribute great importance to food intakes matching the WHO’s recommendations, as well as being particularly concerned to educate children’s tastes. All the products featured in our dishes are quality ones; we favour fresh, raw, seasonal products without any additives, industrial products or flavour enhancers. Our objective is to guarantee a diverse, balanced, suitable diet. All the dishes are made on the premises by professional cooks.
Diet diversification is a crucial stage in a child’s development. This is done at the child’s pace, in collaboration with his or her parents. Consequently, individualised menus are offered in order to respond to each individual’s taste, depending on the ages involved. Moreover, we devote particular attention to allergic risks, reported intolerances, and to parent’s religious requirements.
For us, differentiating between educational and technical staff is the primary way of ensuring strict respect for hygiene. However, all our teams, whether educational or technical, are trained in complying with the hygiene protocols set up within the structures. Our technical staff (cooks, kitchen hands, cleaners, and technical staff) are trained in complying with HACCP standards and strict protocols for controlling hygiene are drawn up every day within our professional kitchens.
Entry into the crèche is not necessarily synonymous with weaning. Mothers can breastfeed their infants at the crèche and this is even desirable. It is both natural and suited to the child’s needs
If you are able to organise your day to achieve this, we can welcome you so you can breastfeed your baby. We can also help you continue with this breastfeeding using feeding bottles. All you have to do is collect your milk whilst complying with appropriate rules of hygiene and then transport it to the crèche in a feeding bottle that is kept fresh, which the teacher will then be able to give to your baby during the day.
The manager of the crèche or module will define the practical procedures for these methods of feeding with you (the place, and times for feeding, etc.). Bear in mind that mother’s milk can be kept for two days in a refrigerator and for 3 months in a freezer. However, for food safety and quality reasons, we prefer to use mother’s milk only up to the day after it was collected.
Sébastien, who is a serious man, likes to please by preparing nice child-sized dishes. He is always concerned about the taste and the appetites of the children, observes and noting what they like and what they don’t like. Working in collaboration with our paediatric nurse, Sébastien is responsible for the dietary balance of the meals, both in terms of the quality and quantity. He is also responsible for all of the kitchens, a role that he carries out whilst showing respect and adopting a humane approach.
